WWE wrestler Darren Young revealed to a TMZ
cameraman -- and subsequently the rest of the world -- that he is a gay
man. While leaving LAX airport on Aug. 14, 2013, the pro-athlete was
hounded by an enthusiastic shutterbug and quizzed on his thoughts about
the wrestling industry. Somehow, the photographer thought to ask Young,
29, if he thought a gay wrestler "could be successful" within the WWE.
"Absolutely," Young responded. "Look at me. I'm a WWE superstar and to
be honest with you, I'll tell you right now, I'm gay. And I'm happy. I'm
very happy."
